Kellie's Castle - "THE EPITOME OF UNDYING LOVE"

We went to Kellie's Castle in Perak,one of the fourteen states in Malaysia. It is a historic building that was hundreds of years and has a story of  an "EPITOME OF UNDYING LOVE".

Here is the history of this building 






Our arrival was greeted by the old staircase that was built around the year 1905

LEVEL 1
The bar - A room where he entertains friends among whom are the owner of big rubber plantations around the state of Perak.

Narrow & dark path to the wine cellar & entrance to the underground tunnel
(The tunnel has been closed by museum authority in 2003 because of safety reason)

Stated : The spirit of William Kellie Smith is still believe to be wondering along the "CORRIDOR"........
Kellas House the first home. Built in 1905 where he stayed with his family. Partially destroyed during WWII

Among the many amazing things about Kellie's Castle are an elevator (it was the first in Malaya) which connects right up to the top floor

Smith planned to build an indoor tennis court 


On the highest floor, there is a rooftop courtyard for parties. This castle was to be the hub for entertaining wealthy colonial planters who had settled in Malaya
